High Hopes in the French Alps

GPS-ki

Our Ski Tracks

We had a late morning start on the slopes today, but after all the snow overnight, the pistes were really great quality,  slightly off piste was just as good if not better, but hard work in places!

Beautiful snow virtually everywhere, there were one or two scrapy areas but certainly nothing to complain about. There’s a few more pics in the gallery. Yes, I know, more snow!  We decided to take the gps out today, just to get an idea of the sorts of speeds and distances we do. I was most pleased to discover my maximum speed was 59.4 kmh! and we skied a distance of 36 kms. I had the gps on today, it’s Dennis’s turn tomorrow, he’ll probably put me to shame…. again…. dag nabbit!
