Fun Flying…

Well the last couple of days have been great! Yesterday everyone flew around the valley all having a fun time, today it was a tad more stable but equally as good flying conditions… but blue thermals today, with good climb outs and some fun glides being shared by pilots checking out their glide rates against each other crossing the valley. There’s a couple of few Omega 8′s out here now, pacing up against some of the other gliders. Dennis had a fly on one yesterday, although would have preferred a smaller size I think so didn’t quite get the full perspective on the glider, so no report just now.

Unfortuantely, no photos either, as Dennis squashed my camera with the new bus, so it seems I’m definately going to have to get a new one now! In the meantime I’ll attempt to take some pics with the mobile or try to cadge some pics from others…

We’ve got pilots here at the moment, so hopefully some xc’s may be in the offing. Today some were certainly achieved around the valley, more of the same tomorrow…here’s hoping!
