I’v been searching for an rss xml file to subscribe to your podcasts, but have found only an rss for the blogs, and one for the podcast comments.
Is there an rss xml file hidden somewhere that I can use with rhythmbox?
I’m not overly familiar with rhythmbox, but you should be able to subscribe via the iTunes set up. If you click on the main ‘Alpitude’ or Home page, on the right hand menu there is a list for iTunes subscriptions if you click that, it should direct you to iTunes where you can subscribe. If you have any problems with it, please let me know so I can try to sort them out. We have got a few more podcasts in the pipeline but they are delayed due to other commitments, so hopefully we’ll have them up and running by the autumn.
I think Apple use a proprietary format that is only good for iTunes.
But I found FeedFlipper to the rescue: http://picklemonkey.net/flipper/convert.php
Using this free online service, any podcast fetching app can access iTunes feeds.
