Gillians Solitary Flight so far… still trying to figure out how to upload the details onto the blog,  this is the best I can do at the moment. Hopefully I’ll get a few more  to log  eventually when the weather comes good again! This is all for the moment though. Unfortuantely, I haven’t got the detailed min/max climb/sink rates on this version, but you get the idea…

To view in Metric, click on the ’mini set square, view in metric’ on the top right of the title blue bar.

10 May 10 Dennis messing about between the rain, and  playing with this mini gps.

Unfortuantely, I can’t upload directly onto the blog because it doesn’t have the facility to ‘read’ igc files, so this is the only way I can display flights via a link to  XC Contest. If you’d like to return to the blog, just ‘arrow’ back.

09 April 10 Gillian – 18kms local

22 June 10 Gillian – 23kms in Chabre

30 June 10 Gillian – 19kms from Chamonix to home

25 June 10 Gillian – 34kms Chabre/Laragne FAI triangle

Guess what I’ve finally found a programme that I can work with my flights with pics and all… so here’s my first offering of my flight from Chamonix to Home. Only 19kms, which you’ve probably already seen on XC Contest but this way I can keep it personal. It’s a good programme similar to the Garmin one, with all the information to hand. Feel free to run your mouse over the map to activate the lower bar displaying the ‘settings’, ‘statistics’ and stuff for much more indepth details. Sorry for repeating the same flight, but the intention is to add more… nice to have a look just for the example if nothing else! Also gives me more of an incentive to take pictures!
