High Hopes in the French Alps

No Play, Grey

Plaine Joux launch looking...well grey

Busy day on the road, lots of Transfers coming in which is good, considering the weather isn’t offering much in the way of encouragment.

The fog line was quite deep and visibility wasn’t the best at the childrens competition. Our little guest came in a very respectable 4th out of 19 young girls, and was really pleased with her result. The lads were a different league and he didn’t divulge his position so maybe things aren’t that different in competition no matter what age you are… the feelings remain the same!

It was a grim grey flat ambience down here for most of the day, no breaks in the low cloud ceiling.

More chalet work needed to be done, walk the dog etc.  Plaine Joux launch was looking a bit sorry for itself when I looked over from the road. Looking forward to some more snow, days off and more skiing!
