High Hopes in the French Alps

Cold Couple of Days

It’s been perishing cold the last couple of days… transfers have been taking up the time.

Good news though! The thermals are weak, but they’re there!! – Have seen a couple of pilots maintaining over at Plaine Joux and a few in Chamonix, although they wern’t getting high enough to make any transition, they were doing ok over the Pump.

Still got High Pressure dominating so cloudless skies, and frosted cold days and nights. They are forecasting snow flurries around Wednesday… we’ll see.
