High Hopes in the French Alps

Sniffing Spring in the Air…

setting up on launch

The weather is still flyable… so guess what?! we went flying. There was a bit of an inversion so a bit roly in places, other than that it was a nice afternoons flying. Nothing spectacular, but nice to fly. It’ll be even  better when the days start to get a bit longer, we’ll be out a bit earlier then, instead of quite late in the afternoon.

Mathieu was out again, as well as Marie, and a few others. We all had enjoyable flights, although just not quite long enough. I had a taste of what the Delta will feel like in stronger stuff .. it felt good. I could almost smell the spring thermals, they’re not too far away now!

A couple of tandem pilots were working, it looked like Manu had a recluctant passenger, as he was big-earsing and trying to get down quick-sharpish. Sylvain’s passenger on the other hand was really enjoying it, and we both landed at the same time!
