High Hopes in the French Alps

Autumn Watch!

So we’ve arrived at our ‘end-of-flying’ season, and it’s been a good season for us all in all. We said cheerio to our last flying clients, and are now winding down for the winter, before the driving season arrives in full force!

squirrel, probably nut gathering!

We’ve already had snow, but the temperature has warmed again now, so with the increase of temperature the snow lower down has melted. It has arrived very early this season even though it was short lived, nothing to get excited about, but the first flurries are always nice!

The last flying we’ve done was a couple of weeks ago, and flying over the gorgeous jewelled coloured trees is still a beautiful sight to enjoy! Every autumn, we never tire of the colours!

Walking Tizzy, the other day, I managed to take this shot of a squirrel with my mobile, they are much easier to see without all the foliage, the leaves are dropping quickly now, so how cute are the woodland animals this time of the year, when we get to see them!
