  1. Gosh, looks quite lovely. Freezing and cold in darkest Wiltshire but no snow yet. Are you doing any comps next year? The Brits are in Portugal and I think will be really good. I’ve got 6 planned – the first in Colombia in early January and the South African PWC in Feb so that will break my winter up a bit. See you next year I’m sure. I guess you are busy with skiing now and forgotten all about PG until the spring, I must go again ..

  2. Hi Colin, good to hear from you! Yes, it’s all looking quite glorious as it does with the mountains all clothed in their winter outfits! Comps next year… well hope so, as I’ve got this new fangled flight computer that I’m trying to get to grips with! So it would be good to try it out in it’s natural environment, so yes, hopefully. We’re registered for the Belgian Open, in Switzerland, and the Mosel Open in Germany, but whether we get places or not remains to be seen. Not sure about the Brits to be honest Colin, if they were in Meduno, again or St Jean then that would be a definite but not sure about Portugal, one of my friends competed in the Nordic Open there and was telling me that there were telegraph wires all over the place, and it wasn’t the best… but that’s just one persons opinion, so I could be wrong. Would be interested to hear what you think of the place. Do you know where the second leg is being held?

Sounds like you’re really going for it, with the 6 you have planned, all the best with them, I’ll check out the pilot lists and results as and when, by-the-way have you had many flight on the IP6, and how do you find it? – Even though the skiing is under way, I’m still messing around with my flight instruments!! Talking about instruments, would you mind giving me a run down on what you’ve got set up on your screens? Just send me an email direct to gillian@flyers-lodge.com it’d be good to compare, so flying isn’t totally out of my mind.

We’ve been out skiing, the snow is great! loads of fun… feel free to dig out those skis Colin, and come and join us! I remember the last time you skied with us, and you bought those yellow, black diamond gloves! – Which incidentally, we’ve got some ourselves now, except in black. Warm aren’t they…
